About Phillip....

Phillip Schofield was born on the 1st April, 1962 in Oldham, Lancashire, England. He spent most of his childhood in Newquay, Cornwall and attended Newquay Tretherras School.

At the age of 17 he moved to New Zealand where he made his first TV Appearance presenting a children's music programme called Shazam! in 1982. After a year or so, he moved back to the UK, where he first appeared on UK television presenting Children's BBC on weekdays from the broom cupboard in the 80's and then Going Live! on Saturday mornings for many years. He was also a BBC 1 Radio presenter with a Sunday show that was also called Going Live.

He then moved onto presenting various documentaries and holiday programmes for ITV. Then to the surprise of many of his fans he changed his career and took over the role of Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from Jason Donovan on the West End Stage, he even released the single Close Every Door which got into the UK Charts. He also starred on stage as Dr Doolittle.

Phillip Schofield went on to present a long list of shows which you can find in the biography section of the site.

In 1993 Phillip married Stephanie Lowe and they now have 2 daughters, Ruby and Molly. One of Phillip's pet hates now is being remembered as the companion of Gordon the Gopher, infact he even tried to put Gordon in Room 101, unfortunately for Phil the audience took the side of Gordon and saved him.

Phillip is infamous for going grey at an early age and subsequently dying it black for a while. He is now proudly grey once again and still as gorgeous as ever. Phillip currently presents daytime TV talk show, This Morning on ITV, along with Fern Britton and Lorraine Kelly.

Please note: This is a fan website. I do not personally know Phillip Schofield (unfortunately) so therefore some of these facts may be incorrect.
